Innovation & Quality

NUMECA-USA invites you to attend a free workshop on optimization with marine design tools organized in collaboration with HydroComp, Inc.

HydroComp will address the application of ship and propeller design optimization with a value-added process using [1D], [2D], and [3D] approaches. It will demonstrate how the NavCad hydrodynamic and propulsion system simulation tool is critical framework for practical ship design performance analysis and optimization, particularly when coupled with [3D] CFD applications.

NUMECA will present an overview of FINE™/Marine's capabilities and benefits for simulation in naval architecture. We will show you how the latest advancements in CFD make this technology highly accessible for any company in need of cost- and time-efficient design solutions.

Attendees will see live demonstrations with FINE™/Marine and have the possibility to experience automated simulations during hands-on exercises.

Key benefits:

  • Learn from industry expects, including Donald MacPherson, Technical Director of HydroComp, Inc.
  • Get hands-on FINE™/Marine experience (please bring your laptop) and run CFD simulations on the Cloud

When: Wednesday May 30, 2018 - 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT

Venue: Library Square Conference Centre, 350 West Georgia Street, Room: Alma VanDusen, Lower Level, Vancouver, BC V6B 6B1, Canada
